Struggles in Prison and Trials

The Motive of the Assassination
I killed Ito as part of a plan to accelerate Korea’s independence war, and I stand for trial as I have become a prisoner
because we have lost a war. I assassinated Ito not as an individual but as the Army Chief of Staff of Great Korea to the
cause of the nation’s independence of the nation and the peace of East Asia. Thus, the prosecution should exercise
jurisdiction against me according to the public law of the world.
